Why do I get depressed more often at night?
I know its when im alone and have more time to think, but its to the point of thinking suicidal.
With company you fill loved, during night, alone in darkness you fell alone. I contend that you are never alone :)
Where there’s darkness there is light, live your life….
Some people handle it differently….you may be depress, but you may be happy..
You want to perish, but yet your heart tells you to beat…….
There is more to life then just trying to live it right, if i knew the answer to that then i wouldn’t have to right. (Tasha)
Read the bible! I prefer Psalms, its good for getting bored or depressed :)
Try listening to some soothing music, and maybe try going to a doctor if it won’t get better. I think that would help better than reading the bible or reading bad poetry
It is a good point that you realize your condition, meaning that you know that you need help. I think the best way is to see a psychology. For the meantime, you can sleep with your siblings if you have any or with your friends. Avoid being alone until you lose the drepressed feeling.
I think night times are the loneliest and hardest hours for people who are alone and feeling isolated or even depressed. When it is day time there are more activities to distract a person if they are depressed, that is, they can go out and do some exercises, go shopping, visit families etc…When night time arrives, it makes doing the former even harder. If you find loneliness is a killer (pardon the pun), try to have the radio on, especially talk back radio, hopefully this will eliminate some loneliness. If all else fails, go and see a specialist.

There are many reasons why you could be getting depressed at night. Are you a outgoing and social person? Then being alone at night could make you feel depressed. Or are you an outdoorsy live in the sun kind of person? Then night time could have you feeling bored and depressed. These are only 2 options, but you should maybe go talk to a psychologist about this problem. He/she will be able to help you allot better, because they will take the time to get to know your personal back ground and situation. Depression in any form should not be taken lightly. Depression is the psychological disorder that kills the second most people. You should get help from a doctor, psychologist or psychiatrist. Please don’t think you’re crazy because you seek help form these people - its a big sterio type that only crazy people go to a psychologist.

If you only ever are depressed at night, it may also be the fact that you are tired. I used to feel that way last year but I am over it now. I found that I was just really crabby at night and whatever anybody said to me was “offensive”. Try to relax yourself and restrain yourself from being angry with others. Worked for me, hope it works for you!
You shouldn’t read the bible because your bored, or want to get bored. You should read it because you want to learn more about Gods word, or try to become a stronger Christian, or a better you.
