Demerits
What are demerits?? Sounds dumb but we have rtc so I don’t know what demerits are
Google defines it as:
Demerit - a mark against a person for misconduct or failure.
so it is not really a punishment then?
It’s a point system based on wrongdoings, so I guess they can be the determining factor of when or how you get punishment when they add up to a certain number. It depends what it’s for.
Example.. if it’s for driving and you do something wrong, they count as punishment. When they add up to a certain number, you can lose your license.
a merit is something good but a demerit is the oposit so its bad and at our school is you get 3 you get a detention and that is terible!
