Death metal band

yeah, so I want to start a death metal band and my best friend says hes willing to learn how to play guitar for it I also have another friend that can play drums but he has no drum set..me…im vocals cus ya know I can death growl pretty good. what all should I have in the band…guitar, drums, bass, vocals…anything else? yeah I hope it works cus I would love to sing for a death metal band

depends what you want. some death metal bands have keyboards, strangely enough :P you could set up your guitarists with a mic, and get them to sing little parts, always adds effect… and then put some flyers up. expect to be playing in dead halls for a couple of months before anything kicks off, though =) good luck :D

o yeah, keyboard we be good, I could prob get one of my other friends he would be good at keyboard…yeah we might need some one to sing the parts that wouldnt be death growls if there were any cus…I dont think im a very good singer enless im doing death metal

Look at cannibal corpse, that’s one of the best death metal bands. But another high ranked death metal band is called “Mortification” just a 3 person band, I’m assuming guitarist, drummer, and the vocals. Mortification is “both the most successful Australian extreme metal band and the most successful Christian extreme metal group in the world.”

You might want to be able to do high growls too, don’t want your music to sound repetitive.
