How do you deal with being tall?

I’m 15 years old and i’m almost 5 foot 8. I’m probably one of the most insecure people about my height, probably because everyone around me is 4-5 inches shorter. My question is, how do i stop feeling so self conscious with my height?

Answer #1

Are you kidding…Be proud that you are tall… I wish I was tall…I have always been called a shorty….bcz I am only 5”3-4(with heels on 5”4) all the pain I have to go through on heels just to look a bit taller…ugh!

you were blessed with tall genetics, dont feel bad about that…smile & brush it off! If someone calls you names it’s bcz they are just jealous…use that to your advantage…

hope this helped!

ur learn to get over it. i am 5’11 without shoes and i been 5’11 since i was 13. i think u stopped growing and almost 5’8 is a good height. try being the tall stick between football guys in high school..my point is everybody has something there insecure about. nobody’s perfect..some ppl are short and some are tall..not everybody is a good average height. we are ungrateful we point out the negatives things when we should be happy regardless. theres ppl out there whoes missing body parts..

Answer #6

You wait. Give it a few years, and you’ll be very very happy with the height. The guys will have grown at that point. And you can just laugh at the females who have to wear heels to get to your height.

Answer #7

Answer #10

I used to be the tallest pupil in primary school, out of the girls and boys. I used to get called lanky alot but then people started growing fast and I just seemed to stop. lol. But now I wish I was a bit taller, it has its advantages sometimes and so does being short, or fat, skinny, athletic or pretty. Use it to your advantage and learn to love yourself.

Answer #11

True. It’s like I have built-in high heels!(:

Answer #12

Okay, nobody is perfect. Some people are too short for instance. I know a lot of people who are tall and short. It’s just you need to deal with it, is what I’ve always known. Instead of looking at it in negative idea, then it will be negative. I take my height (about 5’6) and deal with it. It’s the average height. Some ppl r above average. Anyway, look at it as a positive idea, not negative :P
