How to deal with frizzy, wavy hair?

It’s not the worst hair in the world, but I feel it looks just awful unless I straighten, or curl it. Curling is very difficult unless I use 101 products on my hair, and I just don’t have the money to go out and buy even the cheapest of supplies. Straightening I can do, but I feel it’s ruining my hair. It probably is. This summer I’m hoping to get it to look better without straightening it or any of the like; plain brushing used to work until I got it layered >8( That’s the last time I listen to THAT friend. Anyways, I would seriously appreciate any tips you have. What shampoos you find are most affective on limiting frizz, how to get straighter/better looking hair without ruining it with heat?

mousse works well it keeps down the frizz and if you put it in your hair when your hair is wet it keeps it shape

Answer #2

Mane n tail is a well working shampoo or garnier fructis frizz control works well also dont straighten it that is wat really does ruin ur hair it strips nAtural oils and damages tha ends of your hair i kno its not very fun just lettin your hair do its own thing cause there is so much u can do to it but in tha long run your hair will be much healthier:) good luck!

Just let it air dry and do it’s natural thing. That’s what I do even though I have frizzy weavy, kind curly, hair. It looks better than you think it does. It is attractive, dont worry ‘bout that.

Bumble & Bumble is a good hair product brand that could help tame your hair, although it’s really pricey. Here is a link to their website if you’re interested: http://funadvice.com/r/bsrqkrjaqg4. When you’re washing your hair, leave the conditioner that you’re using in for a few minutes before rinsing it out. If you’re not in a rush, I would recommend using leave-in conditioner. Also, you should put your hair in a towel for several minutes as opposed to rubbing the towel over your head or brushing it. That way, you won’t be as prone to breakage. There’s a hair serum called “Tresemme Serum – Salon Silk”, which I personally use and love. It adds shine, calms frizz, and makes hair super soft! It’s awesome. Is your hair really damaged from applying heat? If so, it’s best to get at least a trim.

Answer #5

straighten it

Answer #6

I have very wavy hair, and some frizz so I tend to curl or straighten it. But you can always wet it down and put a cap on if you’re lazy. You can try anti-frizz products that Salons sell. Or go to Sally’s beauty shop and ask what they would suggest.

Answer #7

try not using the straighners all the time they burn your hair and leave it split wich makes it more frizzy. go the hairdressers and ask them to thin it for you :)
