if not what is a good one to take?
If you only have a tickle in your throat, it would seem a little unnecessary to use Dayquil. This is mostly so because Dayquil isn't just used to treat a cough, but a wide range of other symptoms as well that come with colds and flus. If you don't have those symptoms, for example, you're taking the medication to treat them for nothing.
When it comes to suggestions, I'd personally recommend a cough syrup (something that is specified to treat the cough you're experiencing), or I'd recommend trying some Halls cough drops. If you try this and it doesn't take care of it, though, I think you should see the doctor and see what they think.
I have tried everything but medication and nothing is working, its like it comes and goes, and I end up coughin for like 10 minutes at times, it makeing my throat so sore
If all you have is a tickle in your throat you really don't need a medication. Try a tea with honey, or some hot water with honey and garle with some salt water.
Yeh, if you also have a cough you'll need to get it under control to stop the sore throat. I would assume the dayquil controls coughing, so it should help.
I like nyquil. I assume dayquil is just as good.
