How about leveling with him? If he is a friend, you should be able to be up front with him and tell him the truth about your age and feelings. Relationships online and by telephone are always different then when people can actualy see eachother and be together. I think it’s better to know what you both really want from this relationship. Keep in mind that chatting online and by telephone is very different then actualy seeing and being with the person. I don’t think you can really know how you feel untill you’ve had the chance to meet and spend time together. You might just want to keep him as a friend for now and try to find someone closer to you with who can share this type of relationship. Remember that it is always easier to share only the good stuff when you don’t need to see the person everyday. You can get a false sens of closeness when people are far away and not involved in your daily life. All in all, I think honesty is the best policy, that way everyone knows what cards their holding and it is easier to make choices and decisions that way.
