First Date Advice

I am going on a first date on Wednesday. It’s with a guy I have worked with for a year. It started as a joke that we were dating (we were bored one day at work) and now he actually likes me and asked me to a movie. He is a really nice guy and kinda cute. I really don’t know what to expect from him (like how to dress or of he’s gonna bring flowers or such) so I’m looking for tips on first dates and such. I should add that we both are 18 lol. Any advice is great!

Don’t really have any real tips for you haha. I’d say just wear whatever you like or makes you feel comfortable like your favorite outfit. Just be yourself, talk, pay attention to him. Just enjoy his company. Nothing to it!

As in all romantic relationships, just be honest. Don’t play games. If you are having a good time, say so. If you like how he looks, say so. If you’re glad he brought you flowers, say so. Don’t complain, don’t try to fix him …. take him exactly the way that he is … or not. If you want to, take his hand. If that works and you want to … kiss him on the cheek.
