I advise you use a name less than 3 syllablles as dogs will understand it better because once you go into a 4th syllablle it is gibberish to them. Also you will need a name that can be shortened and used with a determined tone for example “Tammy” for reassuring a dog or talking to it but “Tam” when you need his/her attention to turn to you.
