how do you make curly hair straighter with out a straightner?

Answer #1

The tried-and-true method: put some form of anti-frizz product in your hair, take out the blowdryer when it’s wet, hold your hair straight with a comb in sections and blowdry away! It won’t be as straight as the straightener look, but at least all your hair won’t be fried.

Answer #2

if you want it to be more on the wavy side then just give it a really good brushing and apply lots of anti-frizz serum to help bring down the puffiness!

I agree with sunshinebanana, but actually don’t overload your hair with product. Too much will make your hair look greasy, and weigh it down. Put a tiny amount in, away from the roots. And use hair protection spray as hair is still damaged by blow drying as much as straightening. Use a round brush too as it will turn out better than a comb. Section your hair and blow dry your roots first. Work from the top of your head to the bottom. Use hairspray when you finish or a finishing creme. Be careful to not use too much. I’d advise to use a little less than stated on the bottle/tube: you can’t take of any excess but if you need more you can top it up after. Good luck :)

Answer #4

They have curling irons for that. A straightener would be extremely difficult to curl your hair. If you don’t have a curling iron, you can use the curling-pins and leave them in your hair overnight and uncurl them in the morning. Or, you could use the straightener and make flips in your hair. But use the straightener as a last resort, since it’s hard.

She wants straighter hair… :)
