My momma has had high blood pressure and is dizzy a lot. Today she woke up and her blood pressure was high as hell( 176-104), it's been going down gradually but she's REALLY dizzy. No matter what it doesn't go away. Also she her right ear hasn't been that good and she hears like a buzz. No we can't go to a doctor because if she goes near a car, let's say we would end up dead and no one else knows how to drive. If it don't make sense then I'll clarify anything
If there are any free clinics, try to make an appointment and have a friend drive you both. Call United Way and see if they have any suggestions.
The other comments are right. Her symptoms need treatment. Once she gets started on meds you may be able to get them by mail. Common blood pressure meds are sometimes available for as little as $4 per month.
Take care, and
Good Luck!!
see a doctor immediately...high bp puts stress on the heart. Heart attack is likely without med attention. Reduce salt, stop drinking, stop smoking, cardiovascular exercise (walking). Aspirin can lower blood pressure. Buy baby aspirin and have her take 1-2 daily. Mornings. Call an ambulance. This is serious.
Wow that's very high, she needs to go to the doc
