Creative necessity and real world experience question (open-minded)

I’ve been working on a novel off and on for a while now in which the main character has an epiphanpus experience with psilocybin mushrooms. This will be an integral piece of the plot, therefore I want it to be genuine. My question is this: what are your thoughts on using these [God-given] organisms as constructive learning tools as they apply to creative necessity and the need for real-world experience?

Answer #1

What I was asking was more along the lines of other individual’s views on the ethics of using substances in a respectful, controlled learning environment for the sake of artistic creation. I was not asking how to use it in my plot or for a critique of my work/mode d’emploi. I do appreciate your advice but I have much work left to do before it is ready for that.

Answer #2

If it’s your novel, you shouldn’t be asking us about your how to use it in your plot, or how the general public will respond to your thoughts. You should sample your writing and see what people think about it. Ask for constructive criticism.

Answer #3

Hmmm I’d find that fasinating…I admire your specific word choice..I’d never hear of someone talkso elaborate and scientific…The words of einstein…One day,you shall be known for your work…
