It really depends on where you are and who you work for, but usually it’s a suitable income.

You have to consider some of the cases that you will be involved with…things that might make you angry, sad, or even afraid.

Again - that depends on your clientel…a court reporter will make a pre-determined amount by salary, whereas an accountant can either make much less,or more, depending on how many clients he/she works for - it’s all proportionate to your ambition ;)

Yes, but it’s stressful and involves long hours.

Accounting pays well if you have the clients…but youneed to know how to sell yourself since you have to build up your own clientel. The hours are fair, but expect lots of overtime in tax season. It’s a stable career, but many people find it gets boring after some time.
