Could the daddy be too big?

I have a 1/2 wiener 1/2 jack russel named daisy. She went into heat and we tried to be careful but I’m pretty sure she’s she preggers. Since we dont know who the dad is I was wondering if it was true that if he was too big giving birth to large pups could kill her. I’m worried any info would be very helpful.

you should get a vet to check her with an ultrasound, but this will not really pick up the size too much until further into the pregnancy, but would confirm whether or not she is pregnant. My small cocker got caught by a large springer and the vet suggested a termination as the pups would have been so big. This could be an option if it is very early days and you do not really want pups, it is a harmless injection. Otherwise if you are looking at big pups she may have to have a caesarian, your vet will advise you. Good luck.

Take her for an ultra sound at you nearest vet to determine that, it could be that she could have trouble giving birth if the puppies are to big, I.e. they could get stuck and she might need some extra help then.
