Would this be considered some form of narcolepsy?

Whenever I’m put under pressure to study for an exam, or write an essay I get extremely tired at all hours of the day and can sleep a ridiculous amount of hours and still feel like going to sleep. The problem with this being I can never get anything done unless I’m under some kind of pressure… It’s a terrible circle. What would that be classified under?

Answer #3

No. Narcolepsy is not situational, neither is it caused by psychological issues. People react differently under stress. You apparently get tired. It isnt classified as anything. And while I do understand the getting work done under pressure, that is a cycle you can train yourself to overcome. You can force yourself to get work done before it is due. Sometimes giving yourself artificial deadlines can create the same sort of pressure.
