Hunnie..

I got pregnant for my first time at 13, and I just came flat out and told my mom. Thats the best way. I ultimately decided to have an abortion, but then became pregnant again at 15 and had my first son. I then had my second son at 18. I have been through quite a bit of drastic times due to my descions as a teenager and I am now 22 with another man (not my babydaddy) And frankly it is not a pretty picture!

Have a back up plan in case things don’t workout great like a friends house or grandparents house to go to for a few days to give your mom some time to take it all in.

Understand your right while you are pregnant you are emancipated (that means you can make your own descioins temporarily during your pregnancy) Tell your boyfriend what you both think you should do. This is a team effort (We are pregnant)

I wish you the best of luck and Email me whenever you want nataziarojas@live.com

I forgot to add one additional piece of advice: Do go to that family planning clinic and get educated on your health, anatomy, and all the various forms of birth control. You want to make sure that you don’t get pregnant again in a couple years like nataziar.

All sexually active girls need to have a pelvic exam at least once a year to screen for STDs, infections, and pre-cancerous cells of the cervix. I’m not joking and no girls are exempt from this. Even if you think you have no symptoms, all sexually active girls are prone to a wide array of minor infections that are easily treatable but, if left unchecked, can grow into very serious problems. Be responsible and take care of your health.

Be responsible and use birth control from now on.

Good luck with everything

P.S. A pregnant minor is not emancipated. Emancipation requires a court order and a pregnant minor is still a minor unable to support herself. You are still in the charge of your parents. State laws vary but in most cases you will have the authority to make legal decisions concerning your pregnancy without parental consent. This is not the same as emancipation.

I don’t know how or why but she probly knows. moms always know. but I would just come out and say it. think about what your options are and how you are planning to deal w/ the situation. have all that figured out so if she freeks and starts w/ the usual questions like what will you do now or how do you plan to support urself or is the father involved you have answers for her and not scare her more by not knowing any of the above. I was 19 when I found out I was preggo but my mom already knew. she actualy asked me. she’ll probly freek ( mine didnt but its the first reaction w/ everyone esp if your only 15) but reassure her that you got things figured out and you arent asking for her consent as she cant do anything about it but you are asking for her blessing and that she be a part of both of your lives,,, if having the baby is the option you are taking. lemme know how it went. im here to talk if you need anything

Answer #6

I don’t know… But you better not get an abortion, and you better keep the baby. It was your mistake to let the guy finish in you, and you not use protection. Abortions are just like killing babies.

Answer #7

ask your mom how she got pregnant with you and after she finishes telling you you say mom I got a better story

Answer #8

You need to tell your parent(s). This is too much for a girl in high school to go through alone and they will find out eventually anyway. She will probably be upset and have a lot of questions. You might want to prepare yourself for answering those questions (who, where, when, why, how). Are you planning to keep this baby or do you think you would rather have an abortion? Before you talk to your mom, you might want to meet with a counselor at a free family planning clinic like Planned Parenthood to discuss your options and concerns. You will have to weight your personal, religious, and legal requirements before ultimately making a decision about the pregnancy.

Best of luck to you
