Conficker C Virus

If you use FireFox - and have a firewall in place, no worries. If you use IE…even if you have the latest security fix, you might be vulnerable…most viruses target IE, due to the activex integration.

its the dumb ‘april fool virus’ that someone with too much time on their hands decided to give evryone… and some people I know already got it… it sux and its a mean joke…=(

The “Conficker” worm / virus also known as “Downadup” infection, is actually a virus code programmed in such a way that it can infect your computer and spread itself to other computers across a network automatically, without human interaction.

Most anti virus software could detect and block the Conficker worm, so if you have updated anti virus software on your computer, you are at a much lower risk of being infected by the Conficker worm.
