Should I be concerned with this lump?
I recently discovered a few small lumps in my armpit. I didn’t think anything of them because I thought that maybe it was just where I shaved or my deodorant irritated my skin. Last night I noticed that when I lifted my arm, I felt a pressure in my armpit. As I examined it, I found another lump but it was much larger and deeper. Also, it was sensitive and hurt when I touched it. Of course I plan on going to the doctor, but my appointment isn’t until next week. What should I expect him to tell me? Does anyone know what this might be? Should I be super concerned?
my Moms friend had lumps under her armpit and when she went to see her doctor she said it was blocked sweat glands (if I remember right) and would go down within a few days, although it’s best to see your Doctor.

I had a big lump in my armpit and it was really sore. I went to the doctor and they said it was just a cyst or something. I figure it’s from antiperspirants/blocked sweat glands like the above comment said. After a couple weeks or so it went away.
Um I’d only b concerned if it started to get bigger and if you continue to get more. But it sounds like an easy fix I’ve had something similar. And they just gave me antibiotics and it went away.
It snds like a boil to me, sometimes they go away on thr own and sometimes they need to b cut open and drained, watch for red lines comein from the area as that means an infection and will most likely need to b cut ope and drained. If it gets to uncomfortable it may need to b checked by the doc again
It sounds like swollen lymph nodes to me. I think its a good thing that you are checking it out. Everyone else is probably right though, but you can never be too safe.
