It really depends on what you consider “dark”. Without a picture its really hard to tell you what color would look the best, but generally bright colors compliment dark skiin better. Hot pink, purple, neon blue, yellow, lime green, red, orange, etc.

It depends on your personality. Everyone likes different colors and in my opinion for a dress for dark skin, I would use bright colors and make yourself stand out. Like purple, blue, pink, orange and maybe yellow? It depends also on you eye color and things like that :)

Most dark skinned individuals can look good in almost any color. It is lighter skinned people who have a more difficult time finding flattering colors. Fair haired redheads have the hardest time and often only look their best in earth tones.

It really depends how you want people to view you, like the person above said, gold is brilliant with this complexion, and gold also stands out a lot and draws attention, whereas the deeper colours will allow you to blend in, it really depends on your personality xx

I’d avoid neon, bright colours, but lucky for you, most colours suit dark skin, though maybe go for something colourful, rather than a dull colours. :)

Dark skinned people generally look better in brown,orange,dark blue,pink,green or reds. Go bold with red, orange, blue, and pink. For brown eyes deep brown or black. For light eyes bright green or blue.
