What colors should be used in a spa website, or should you just use shades of gray?

I would say either green or brown. Again spa is place for relaxation, colors of nature would do help…

Pink, black, and white.

Shades of gray make it too gloomy, try exotic green or a mix of pink with light green (since they are complementary).

I like the layout and color scheme as it is now, it’s relaxing and catches the eye without being too powerful or distracting from the content.

I was thinking shades of gray, and then maybe shade in some greens, less pinks, an a dab of red but I till think it needs to stay earthy like Sri said.

Yes to much power could take away from the appeal of relaxation.

I know my youngest son loves blue, but I don’t know if it would fit in a spa.

I think think would would in a nail or hair spa, but we do everything, but hair, and the have spa parties with food and liquor.

I would love a symphonic metal look, but that is to strong, that is why I am telling my wife I want to open a night club.

What I am trying to do I think is shades of gray, with earth material, then brush color into it, and have a hint of seduction.

You may be right, I may have to do shade of green and then brush in color. Sh1t I am not a artist, I am a engineer, this is a pain.

Why not just look at what other spas have on their sites? They usually stick to shades of greens, browns, etc. Very natural looking. And pastel colors.

Blue is totally spa-like.

i would use lighter colors like shades of pink and gray, maybe baby blue.

Earth tones are very soothing, neutrals. Great for a spa.

actualy like a minty greeen and light blue are very calming colours and are very natural so u know natural=spa :) it will look fab and i think those colours if u get the right shades really compliment each other and they are both bright and happy :D

Definitely not gray! Soothing, earthy colors like in the water family (blues, greens, soft white) or the earth family (stone, earth brown, grass green). It evokes a sense of calm and being at one with nature.
