hair doesnt suddenly make you a label and no, your haircolour doesnt matter emo is a style nowdays there are people who have what is considered “emo” styled hair which in itself makes no sense but usually its your hair over your face the colour of your hair playes no part in its style its just haircolour if you want “emo” hair just put half of it over your face and your done the colour isnt important because its not part of the actual hairstyle
