I’m a Senior in high school at the moment but I’ve been accepted into college. I plan to get a major in Graphic Design. My question is when I start college will I have to keep taking english, math and science classes all four years that I’m there? Only reason im asking is because I hate math.. and I really dont see me using it in the degree I plan to go fo.r if anyone can let me know how it goes that would give me peice of mind thank you!

Answer #1

if you hate math then you can take a business math in college. with that all it is is how to balance a checkbook and things like that

Answer #2

yeahh it also depends on what level of math you took in high school

you will probably have to take algebra if you hate math…you probably wont wan to take calculus or pre-calculus

Answer #3

yes you must take the core classes now as of all 4 years I dont know it dependes on where and how many credits you need

Answer #4

your first year is when your going to have to take your main classes like english math science and history but after that you get to pick your own classes

Answer #5

you should only have to take all of your basics once which are your math science english speech and so on. Once you get all of those done then you should not have to take them again. But when you first start college you will start off taking your basics once they are out of the way you will start to go into your graphic design classes. You should try and contact a counsler at the college that you will be attending they will explain things a whole lot better than I can. :) Good Luck
