Clingy best friend
My best friend and I have been best friends for nine years, and we go to a pretty bad school so we have stuck together for everything. But, she has become very clingy this past year. She calls me EVERY day wanting to hang out. Sometimes I just ignore her calls which makes me feel really bad. When I don’t pick up, she leaves tons of messages and keeps calling back. It’s so annoying. Not only is she clinging to me, her personality is changing as well, and I don’t like it. She is so competitive with me. And, she is very insecure. So I complement her to be nice, and when I do, she brags about it rather than saying thank you. It’s come to the point to where I don’t even want to be friends with her any more. What should I do? Thanks!
