Christianity and Premartial Sex

FYI, Ephesians was not written by Jesus, nor does any portion of it quote him. Ephesians is attributed to Paul.

Even when I was a Christian, I never really understood why people conflated Paul with Jesus.

I dont bveleive in ‘god’ but apparently almost everything is a sin in the bible and everything can be forgiven, all you need to do is find “god” again and be “saved” even murderers who have killed many people can find ‘god’ and are now able to go to heaven. and all that crap. the whole things is silly really

yeah premarital sex is wrong according to the Bible.

but it doesn’t mean that you are condemned to hell or anything. I think God is too kind and forgiving to do something like that. just my two cents

Paradise, you maybe forgiven of your sins as long as you do not continue in them.

Rom 6:12-23 Don’t let sin rule your body. After all, your body is bound to die, so don’t obey its desires (13) or let any part of it become a slave of evil. 1Co 6:18-20 Don’t be immoral in matters of sex. That is a sin against your own body in a way that no other sin is. (19) You surely know that your body is a temple where the Holy Spirit lives. The Spirit is in you and is a gift from God. You are no longer your own. (20) God paid a great price for you. So use your body to honor God.

Even after that some people can not see passed there own sinful lust. And they quote the old non biblical docturine of “ Once saved always saved.” And remember: Mat 7:21-23 Not everyone who calls me their Lord will get into the kingdom of heaven. Only the ones who obey my Father in heaven will get in. (22) On the day of judgment many will call me their Lord. They will say, “We preached in your name, and in your name we forced out demons and worked many miracles.” (23) But I will tell them, “I will have nothing to do with you! Get out of my sight, you evil people!”

If you want to go to Heaven, and live with God throughout eternity, then, you read his word, follow what is written, and enjoy your life.

You do not live your life, according to what others do.

God shows you how to have relationship with him.

All you have to do is to do what he says.

Just because someone calls themselves a Christian does not mean that is true.

We are judged according to what Gods word says.

So, if you really… want to live with God, you will obey him.

That is what Jesus said.

If you love me… YOU WILL OBEY ME…

That is where the rubber meets the road.

All disobedience will be punished.

In the church, and out of the church.

Nobody has a ticket to sin.

They may do it, but, there will be a price to be paid for it.

Jesus purchased us back from where we had fallen, but, that is not our ticket to do as we please. It means that we have been offered a hand up…

We can take hold of Jesus, and he will lead us and guide us, he will help us to overcome our desire to sin. But, we have to want to do this, we have to cooperate with him, in this. We have a part to play, and that is to seek his power, over sin.

If salvation matters to us, we need to read the book.

And the funny thing is, Paul never knew jesus. But it was pauls job to spread the lies… er, I mean the gospels.

This questions is just another example of the zealots trying to judge other people’s sexual behavior. Why can’t they just mind their own business?

Well one the bible wasnt written directly by jesus christ. but also just because someone sins doesnt mean they arent christian. God is loving and forgiving not vengeful. if you repent then you have admitted you have sinned and that you embrace jesus the savior who was sacrificed to forgive the worlds sins. Then god forgives you. I dont think people should engage in premarital sex though. ver bad idea.

the real answer is not given here. first you must understand that it is a sin. second you must understand that everyone and I mean everyone has/will to this married/not married. allow me to explain. its a sin to have sex with anyone before marriage becuase when you have sex with them, you become one with that person and as the bibles says you cannot seperate after that, thus you should be married (loving marriage) to that person. also must love them, so at the very least you should love them if not married and when I say love yeah mean it. now when I say everyone has done this, you must understand that by dreaming/thinking about someone in a sexual way (thinking same as wanting to have sex with them) you have already sinned! its the same thing as if you had sex with that person, because you have done the sin in your heart. now people that call them selves christians are by no mean pure, no one is. some just get hung up with this issue because they dont want people to have sex before they get married. which in reality you shouldnt, but it happens. you will be forgiving for you sins but after your forgiving you must try your best to live how GOD wants you to, but of couse you wont, you will sin again, why because your human. but you try not to (I.e dont become a pornstar or have one nighters, at least be with someone you love). now being forgigving will not, not , not!! get you into heaven. it just means that you will be forgiving for your sins now and later, because you will sin again. you’ll be saved by believeing in jesus resorection, after your forgivin.

now when the bible says that these “people” (killers, people who sin against them selves by having sex, etc) its talking about people who are not forgiven and saved, and that they will go to hell. so you must be forgiving and saved. now you shouldnt be sinning on purpose, but of couse all of us sin every day, a lot. so your ok, just read the word (bible) and talk about it to people in the church who dont judge. which is hard most of the time because most people who clam to be christian are not. it will take some time to get the answers but its not easy being a true christian, and its not ment to be. and if they judge you move on to a new church because as a christian you cant judge non believers you can only judge believers, since your just starting out you really like a non believer so if they are true christians they shouldnt judge you.
