What do you do in child development class?

  you learn just about everything about the growth and, well, development of a child. Everything from newborns til they're 12 i believe it is. I had those classes my sophomore year, but i dont really know what the kitchens are for? is it like a home ec. class? maybe that would explain the kitchens :S

  You basically learn the develp. of children and stuff you even take care of children in the schools "Daycare" Atleast we did in my class. But it teaches you how to interact with kids and how they develop from birth and up etc.

  I was thinking that too, i was told the kitchen and laundry room we had in my CD class was for when the younger kids came to visit and we had to pretend the whole day that we were a family.

  learn the stages and developments of a child. like what to expct. as they get older, of if they were born different, what you have to do and how to react with kids. etc.

  i have no clue :) maybe the teacher teaches home ec. too im not sure :)
