How is chicken considered a vegetable?

A whole bunch of ppl I know say chicken is a vegetable :-/

Well, with all due respect, I assure you it is not, and they need your help to set them straight. Now, some people may put chicken in vegetable soup which sounds ok (I use pork or beef) and grilled chicken is great with stir-fry vegetables, salads, ect. These ppl you know really need help. Take their car keys til they are straightend out.

What the duck!? Chicken is not a veggie. They said pizza was a veggie so it would seem kids are eating healthy, but in reality a veggie is onions, asparagus, carrots, green beans, lettuce, cabbage ect. You get the idea.
