cherry tree/climate

Can you grow cherry tree in Florida

Answer #1

Yes, but cherry trees are high maintenance. They grow fast so they get big unless you prune constantly. The birds will eat most your cherries. Unless you mean ornamental cherries. They are lovely, but many cherries require a certain amount of cold weather in order to bloom. Florida is not cold enough, long enough, for many cherries. So I wouldn’t bother.
