anyway, if you just want the bear minimum for running WoW, check the minimum system requirements on the box. if you want to run at 60 FPS, you’ll need more RAM, a slightly faster processor, and a decent video card.

Avoid Windows Vista at all costs… it seems to lower your Framerate in warcraft (trust me, it took a lot of modifying to get my post-vista FPS up past 40… and I used to average in the 80-90 range with XP).

I would actually think about a self built computer if your looking for economy. this way you could dismantle your dell, and use some parts (such as the CD ROM drives etc) in your new PC.

building a PC isn’t as tough and scary as people would think… its actually very easy.. the hardest part is deciding what components you want/need.

All-in-wonders such as Dell, Compaq, Gateway etc are typically pretty lame. they offer cheaper prices but sacrifice in other areas.

self-built computers is really the only way to go when you want complete control over your system.
