Is the chatting function which was there on the home page of this site disabled?

Why are certain questions bold on the home page?

As many people here know, I worked for Yahoo. Years ago, they didn't sell out their home page (in the 1990's...it didn't last...

On the home page, the "un-answered questions" link gives you questions that don't have an answer yet. On the "Questions" page...

how and why do people get their accounts disabled?

Cannot see my answers to my question confused. I had an email sayin my question has been answered where the hell is my answer.
