my mom said the legal age is 18. if your younger you have to go in with your parents and they both have to agree on it and sign the papers, but if your 18 then you can do it by yourself without their permission

well… usually is until you are and adult, sometimes would be 18 or 21 but gow old are you? And do your perents know you want to chanche your name? Because if they know then you can do it anytime whit their concepts an d all>
