Changing my name, how do I do that?

Personally I think your name is beautiful. But as for your question you would have to go to court to change it but I think you have to be 18 if your parents don’t agree. As for telling them…I’m sure that they probably already know you don’t like your name, after all they do live with you. Just make a friendly comment about how you really like the name Miley and that you wish it was your name, see what they say and then go from there.

You have a unique name! I wouldn’t change it. I’ve never even heard of it and that’s a change. My name’s Jessica and I wish I had a unique name! I went to school with about 40 other Jessica’s and it was annoying! And do you know how many people are probably planning to name there babies Miley just because it’s now famous? Your parents probably spent a lot of time picking out a name that was unique for you before you were born. I say stick with it, it will grow on you eventually!
