How can I change my side part on my hair?
I want it on the other side (right now its parted to the right) except every time i flip it to the left it looks weird…
It’ll look weird for a while, but you just gotta keep putting it where you want it. Also, it’s easier to keep the part under control if you start it where you want it when you get out the shower, when your hair is wet.
Brush your hair thoroughly and then part it to the left. Take bobby pins or barrettes (I prefer barrettes for this since they hold better), flatten the part down and clip it so it stays flat. Sleep in a braid or side pony on that side so you don’t loose your part. It will take a while since you have to train your hair to get used to that side, but it wont take very long. Also, when I started my side part, I got side bangs so I was forced to part it so it wouldn’t look stupid
when you wash it part it to the left so that it dries like that and then it will look more normal and your hair will stay to the parted
Well I use to always part mine down he middle but I Changed to the side… All I did was start parting it that way n it stayed haha idk if it’s just cause my hairs thin or something but it was simple
when it is wet, part it to the side you want and blow dry it in that direction, then maybe even use a straighting iron over it. Eventually your hair will begin the naturally settle on that side.
