What is a better way to change my hair color?

My hair’s currently a black/really dark brown color (see picture attached). My original hair color is a light brown-ish color. I was planning to dye my hair really light, practically a blonde, so basically even lighter than my original hair color. But my friend told me that there were better ways to change my hair color without exactly “dying” it again, so my hair won’t be damaged. Do you guys know what ways/processes there are to lighten my hair and approximately how long it will take for my hair to change colors? Thanks.

Lemon Ju!ce. It will do WONDERS. My friend has, well had Burgandy colored hair, and she didnt want to dye it, so she used Lemon Ju!ce for about 3weeks, and her hair was ALOOOOOOOOOT lighter. Just squeeze the lemon ju!ce into a spray bottle apply it into your hair evenly and go out into the sun for 1 or 2 hours, do this for a week, or until you start to see changes in your hair :) also try using shampoos that contain manzanilla, itll help alot :)

try jumping into the pool after you’ve soaked in the sun for about an hr or so, not only dose the clorine in the pool boost to bleaching your hair a lighter color, you’re also washing out the lemon at the same time!!

personal tip: i’ve come to find lime works better then lemon!, ALSO don’t stay out in the sun for too long with lemon ju!ce in your hair - i’ve noticed that it creates fried up/split ends!!, if you do wanna soak in the sun for a longer period of time… don’t do it when the sun’s the hottest!!

also if you want to make your hair darker you can use cold coffee the same way.
