he's just started chemotherapy (or radiotherapy, i cant remember which one) and im wondering how high the chances are of him making it through. a lot of my brutally-honest friends say he probably wont make it
It really depends on far along he went before being diagnosed. If its still isolated in his manboobage theres a good chance they can cut it or zap it out with chemo, however if the cancerous cells spread and gained a foothold in other parts of his body... it really comes down to how well he can handle the constant treatments of chemo
That is something we can't really tell you ,as far as i'm concerned. It really depends on how long he has it before he found out about it and how well his body reacts to the treatments. His doctor should know more, after all he/she has experience and knowledge.
I didn't know guys could get breast cancer...
It is more rare on guys, but it does happen.
