Who is certified in CPR?

I had to attend a mandatory training for my job. Has anyone else been certified? Have you actually had a chance to use it?

Answer #1

I’m certified, I had to go to an 8 hour class and learn, learn, learn. Thankfully, I haven’t had the chance to use it. I was also trained to use a defibrillator. I have a CPR/First Aid certificate and it’s in the system for child care. :)

Answer #2

I am certified. I try and keep my cpr certification up to date and i choose to do the classes while i was pregnant. I think that its something that every parent should know and be certified in considering how much kids love to put things in their mouth. Ive never had to use it though thankfully.

Answer #3

CPR is good training to have. I have not been CPR certified by the Red Cross but I have been CLS qualified from the Army which they teach you IV’s, CPR, and other first aid techniques which is good stuff to know. Its better to know what to do and not use it than not know it and need to use it. The knowledge you gained that is.

Answer #4

I have done CPR but never had the chance to use it either at work or home (thank goodness). Not sure how realistic a half doll is with it comes to practising half a day on during these training course. I think First Aid course should be something everyone needs to learn too.

Answer #5

I was…. but it has now expired, so I need to do it again when I have the money. It was a requirement for the degree I originially wanted to do, but as it isnt required for the degree I actually did, I havent updated it. I want to though, its important to know.

Answer #6
