Does anyone else celebrate "No Makeup Tuesdays"?

Answer #1

What is it? A day when you go out with no makeup or something?

Answer #2

No. I’ve never even heard of it. Even if had heard about it, I probably wouldn’t celebrate it…If I want to wear make up, I’m going to wear it. No matter what day it is. Sounds weird to me…what is the point in it? What exactly is being celebrated?

Answer #3

just to prove that girls arent hiding behind a mask of powder.

Answer #4

Nope. I never leave the house without my makeup on.

Answer #5

Mes don’t wears make up =P jk I don’t wear make up almost none at all but I wear my makeup to like I’m not wearing any at all =)

Answer #6

I think every day should be a no make-up day. It’s horrid for your skin and, in my opinion all females look much prettier without it. Most of the guys I know feel the same way.

Answer #7

I celebrate it everyday :D

Answer #8

I celebrate it everyday :D

Answer #9

Same here! Good for you!!

Answer #10

I’ve never even heard of that. I wouldn’t celebrate it anyway. Seems kind of pointless.

Answer #11

No. But we do have this “ clown makeup wendsday.” We over do out makeup, that’s all it is, not every wendsday just like the third one of every month. Kinda wierd but very nice. :)

Answer #12

HELL TO THE NO. I only wear subtle make up anyway. sometimes I can’t be bothered to put make up on if i’m having a stressful morning and a good face day or whatever :L but that’s different. this would just be horribleeeeeeeeeeeeee. fair enough if you’ve got natural beauty. but if you’re butterz leik meh, you need it. ahaha

Answer #13

Girls, if you only realized. Make-up is so not important. You are gorgeous. MATURE guys, when you are older will like you without make-up instead of with. Granted, you are you and can choose as you please, I’m just simply saying what I know to be true because I have been there.

Answer #14

I agree. :) Makeup makes you look fake. Guys like you better if they can look into your eyes without being distracted by clumps of mascara or purple sparkles. A guy has actually told me this, so I’m not making this up.

Answer #15

Not necessarily. If a girl knows how to put on make-up then it’s tasteful, not fake. I’ve had guys and girls alike tell me my eyes are amazing like, my eyelashes are sooo long. They’re not even. It’s lashings of mascara. But it looks natural, with a touch of accentuation. There’s a difference… :)

Answer #17

Yup! I know younger guys can be a bit shallow and think girls HAVE to wear makeup. However, guys 18+ would prefer their girls to be make-up free. They grow to realize make-up is only a mask and the person under the mask is usually more beautiful than the mask could ever be. I say usually because there are many girls who are arrogant, nasty, selfish, and rude. Those traits make a person ugly. Their looks don’t determine their beauty, their attitude does. When you are beautiful on the inside, it shows on the outside. I know….sounds cliche, but it’s the truth.

Answer #18

I understand completely where you’re coming from, but I do think that applies mostly to friendships and relationships only. In your everyday life first impressions are vital, and a touch of make-up can completely change the effect.

Answer #19

Yes of course makeup can be tasteful. It is still not needed. I’m not saying “DON’T WEAR MAKEUP, YOU LOOK GROSS”. I just wish that more girls, young and old alike, would realize their natural beauty, without it. I am also not saying I never wear it. I do, once in a while, if I am going somewhere nice or for special events. But even then I only wear a bit of eyeshadow, liner and mascara. With the exception to Halloween which I usually go overboard with my costume. But that’s different. Just realize you are gorgeous, with or without the makeup.

Answer #20

If my wearing or not wearing makeup will impact someone to the point that they wont associate with me or hire me or whatever based on the fact I don’t wear makeup, I would rather do without it/them. I do agree that first impressions are key to anything, if you are dressed well, carry yourself with confidence and overall take care of yourself (hygiene being key) it will not matter to most whether you wear makeup or not.

Answer #21

I celebrate no make up year. My skin isn’t supposed to be smothered by a bunch of nonsense on it. Make up is for special occassions, not for everyday wear in my opinion.

Answer #22

no what s ‘no makeup tuesdays’ anyway?

Answer #23

I just re-read my answer and it looks a bit blunt, I didn’t mean it to beeeeeee :) I agree with you, I’m just more of a make-up person that’s all. :)

Answer #24

honestly i dont wear outstanding make up but some cover up to cover some imperfections that make feel insecure. i think that good but other than that make up screws up ur face. n its tested on animals:(

Answer #25

Same here, not necessarily, and not necessarily.

Answer #26

Answer #27
