What do cats do when they find mice?

I think so, they play games with it before catching it, then they kill it, and as a reward for their hard work they eat it.

Depends on the cat’s condition. If the cat is deadly hungry then I believe the cat will eat the mouse, at least until the cat feels full enough. If not, well yes, the can will only play with the mouse until the mouse is dead or can let itself free.

They is what I have seen with well feed domestic cats, our barn cats would eat the pest.

All the cats i’ve had will capture it play with it for a while and then eat it. =o & they were well fed by the way.

my old cat bruno would bring them to my door and leave them whereas the kittens didnt know what to do with them and the cat at work eats them :L

They play with it until it dies or is dieing…sad :l

My cats bite them, paw at them, smack them, and naturally before they kill them, they make it a game. They will attack it, leave it alone, and then when the mouse trys to get up they attack it again. Cats normally won’t eat a mouse, unless you have them fending for themself. My cats bring them up to the steps, and leave them there. I think its like a little kid saying, mommy look what i did. Lol

I agree, my cats have played with them and then killed them and usually chewed off parts. It’s gross. But that’s life. Especially if you’re a mouse or a rat. Muhahahahaha! I have a killer cat.
