Cat scratch fever or Cat-scratch disease is a usually benign infectious disease, most commonly found in children 1-2 weeks following a cat scratch. It was first described in 1889 by Henri Parinaud. The cat was recognized as the vector of the disease in 1931 by Dr. Robert Debré.

I had cat scarth fever once. it is when a cat scratches you with dirty claws and they dirt gets in your scratch. a big lump appears on your skin and you must take medicine for it to go away

i had an infection after bit by a cat but it wasn’t cat scratch fever, it was just bacterial infection due to the dire around the cats teeth, but you don’t automatically get the cat scratch infection if you are bitten or scratched by a cat.
