Which cat litter is best to buy for one small house cat clumping or non-clumping?

Answer #1

I prefer the clumping kind because you don’t have to change the whole litter box every day.

Answer #2

i would always buy clumping for 1 or more cats, its alot easier to clean up

Answer #3

Well before i had nonclumping and it seemed to work fine. Then i bought clumping to see how that worked and now it smells horrible and I clean it out everyday and change it all every week. I don’t know if it’s the litter or what because the nonclumping didn’t smell like that.

Answer #4

Toss some baking soda in the litter each time you scoop it. You can also get scented litters or a scented powder that you sprinkle on the litter.

Answer #5

Lol, it is sented litter and i also have sented baking powder just for litter boxes and it still reeks.

Answer #6

Strange….I have 11 cats and I don’t have that problem. I use scented clumping litter with baking soda. Mind you…even with the clumping litter, the litter box needs to be completely emptied and scrubbed at least once a week.

Answer #7

Oh, i know. I scrub it every time i empty it and i just put this new litter in two days ago. It’s very weird.

Answer #8

You have a stinky kitty, lol

Answer #9

Lol, i guess so. (:

Answer #10

clumping. its way easyer to clean up. non-clumping just makes a mess and i think its a waste
