I have it from decorating cakes for years. The symptoms are pain in your wirst, tingling from your wrist to the tips of your fingers, your hands falling asleep very easily and taking a while to wake up. I would be putting on my makeup and my hand would fall asleep in less than a minute. Some cases require surgery....and some people just need to wear a wrist brace when sleeping and doing the activity thats causing the carpel tunnel.
My mom has it. And the symptoms are exactly what Mandyloo said. Within 10 minutes of driving or talking on the phone or being on the computer her hand falls asleep. But its bc she also has fibro mialja? idk how to spell it

When you say falling asleep, what does that feel like? I'm really afraid I might have it, but I don't have any tingling or numbness I think, but just pain in my wrist and hand.
