I think its the footprint from a baby after he is born. Since his/her fingers are real small they don’t work. I don’t know what it is, but I think it is used for like a birth certificate and stuff.

a persons carbon footprint is someones estimate of the impact each of us has had on the environment by using fuels that release carbon into the atmosphere. so if you drive a car every day you have a certain size ‘footprint’. i think it was seriously invented by somewone with way too much time on their hands.
