I lost my car key and only have the one for serviceing do you no what I can do. I was told ya cant really drive with that key as it comes up code it drives but don’t no why ya cant use it. Does any one no what I can do now.
no you can use use it if it drives.if not you have 2 put code in it usually both keys come with a code but go 2 main main dealer 4 the new one if you lost this one they will charge more than you expect
You can drive with the key. People are telling you that the key that you use when you take it to the garage are ones that make sure that they don’t wind up depending on just one key. Use it, and get a new one at a car dealership. I think with GM’s PassKey II system, a new key was like 35 bucks. Just drive.
