Can you use a Sidekick without TMobile?

I just got a sidekick but I live in Canada can I set it up with a different provider than t-mobile???

Hi,

I believe you need T-Mobile to use a T-Mobile Sidekick (hence the name). But, there are phones that are similar to Sidekicks that work with different providers.

sup you need to get the sidekick unocked by someone,just g to your nerest phone shop(not shops that sell phones but shops that only sell phone accessories)they shoud be ably to unock your phone for a price.And there is no phone like the sidekick with a different provider,you can only get sidekick 3s on t-mobile or sharp but as I said you can get them unocked.
