Can you stop your period from the pill?

Can you skip your period by not taking the sugar pills at the end of your birth control cycle? And going straight onto another packet?

yes you can. but it all depends on your hormones. from my experience I use to be on the pill and skip my period. I did that for a whole yr. When I met my boyfrnd we became more sexually active so I continued with my pill. I thought ye how good not only could I have sex and be protected I also wouldnt get my period meaning I could do it whenever. I was WRONG!I skipped the sugar pills and missed my period for 2months strait. the next mnth I noticed I was spotting :s I didnt know wot the hell was going on. Went to my gp and she MADE IT MORE CLEAR FOR ME LOL. When our hormones change you get a build up of the unwanted blood in your cervix area and it needs to be released hence why we start spotting.As a result I stopped the pill and let my period flow normally, got it all outta my system. Luckliy I did do that becoz I was spotting for 2wks strait!! hope that helps you :)

Yes, but it depends on the type of birth control pill that you take. First confirm with your doctor that you can in fact skip the sugar pills. Also you might want to take note that woman say that they don’t always feel too well when doing that.

yes BUT you need to ask your doctor first as not all types of birth control pills can let you do it
