yes you can ! at least where I live (florida) . because im gonna be 16 soon and I told my mom when I turn 17 im leavin because we argue all the time . and she said go ahead I cant stop you because youll be 18 soon . meaning your parents COULD call the cops but if I was reported as (running away) , running away is LEGAL you can not go to juvie . I’ve ran away twice and all the cops do is bring you home . then you leave again lol but also when your almost 18 your parents cant do anything because by the time the court is done with it all you will be 18 thats why so many teens move out at 17 ! good luck

Yeah they can call the cops and you will be reported as a runaway. and you’ll go to Juvie and more then likey be put on probation.

Get amancipated. (if thats how you spell it). But to get that, your parents have to agree and sign it.
