Can you help me with my bunny emergency?

I have two bunnies.

I went to clean one of their cages, and I left the two of them alone in the room while I was gone. They get along very well so I thought they’d be fine for only 10 minutes. Plus, they weren’t in a huge space and the room is safe.

When I came back, there was white and gray fur all over the room. I thought they had ripped up one of the few stuffed animals in the room, but I realized the fur was that of my smaller gray and white bunny. She was in a corner, sitting in a ball, but her ears indicated she was happy, and she was content when I held her.

The other bunny who is black and white was laying down in his cage, also happy. When I held her, I tilted her back because she likes to be held like a baby. I immediately noticed her bloody mouth. She has an underbite, so I noticed that her bottom teeth we missing and her gums were bloody. Then, I lifted her lip and one of her top teeth is chipped and broken in half.

The other bunny was laying in his cage, as I said, and he had a few bloody spots on him but he wasn’t cut anywhere and his mouth was fine. I think it was the bloodied-mouth bunny’s blood on him.

I don’t know what happened, but I feel horrible. Sometimes, they get in little fights, but never where they hurt each other, and only once in a while. And I don’t think the black and white male would hurt her. She’s always the one who actually starts the little fights. Before I even left the room, they were laying together peacefully. Besides, like I said, they fight only once in a great while. Both of the bunnies are about 4 1/2 months old.

I’m worried that she won’t be able to eat or drink. She acts fine, but I’m still worried about it.

Do bunnies grow new teeth if they are lost? That’s my main question…because I’m sure it will be hard for her if she can’t.

If they don’t grow new teeth, what should I do??

I would take them to a veterinarian and explain what happened to them. That way, you will know for sure.
