can you bathe a rat?
Okay I know rats bath themself but can you bath them yourself or whip them down? If so what should I use or how should I do it?
You can and I’ve heard rats love to swim! My pet rats absolutely hate water but maybe yours doesn’t. Use VERY shallow amounts of water and an animal shampoo like ones for ferrets and rabbits. Let them get in the water before getting them soapy just in case they don’t like it. Good luck!
You could bathe a rat in a very small amount of water with a very mild shampoo, assuming your rat would let you…lol. The easiest thing to do may be to buy waterless shampoo spray, like for cats, or pet bath wipes.
