Can My Mom Get In Trouble For Doing This?

my mom always yells at me when she gets mad and when I say something to give a response she gets mad and either smacks me in my mouth or hits me or punches me she does the same thing when I express how I really feel about certain things why should my mom hit me when I just say I how I really feel??? and she always takes my stepdads side over mine they still threaten to whip me with a paddle and im 16 years old and they say I dont make my own decisions. they say “if they dont say im going to do something then im not going to do it!!” please feel free to give any advice or make comments

yah thats so not right.. verbal abuse can be very depressing get help from someone you can trust

yah um my mom pretty much does the same thing you know how hard it is to cover up all the bruises! but seriously its not right! its like…CHILD abuse!

You need to do something about this. That is not right. Yes you’re parents have the right to discipline you but not that way.

If you really want to do something about this you should talk to a counselor at your school. Something must be done.

Please do it before things start getting out of hand. You wont regret it.
