ya I guess youre right. maybe I should uh lay off a bit or whatever. thanks for the help. but, question… I’ve had problems with guys interpreting our friendship as more before and I dont even know what I did to make them think that. do you know how to make it so he knows I just think of him as a friend without making it awkward or being a jerk???

Talk about your boyfriend. I remember there was this guy in one of my classes a long time ago and he was always flirting with me so I thought it was interested. Then he started talking about his girlfriend all of the time and how much he liked her and it made me realize he was just flirting to be friendly.

I just flirt a tiny bit, its just the way I talk to guys im good friends with. not really flirting, but maybe a tiny bit. it doesnt mean anything at all. I totally dont lead him on though

You should know whether you can trust your friend or not, its really hard for us to know because we know nothing about him. The best you could do is if he tries anything to just push him away and let him know that you don’t feel that way about him and you have a boyfriend. Obviously you have to expect hes going to try something, you flirt with him! Why would you flirt with another guy when you have a boyfriend? You are just leading him on and giving him a reason so be more forward with you.

Whether you are or not, he might interpret it that way for obvious reasons.
