Can I take the back of my nose ring out?

I dont want my nose ring to leave a scar on my nose. The back of the nose ring was really tight on it and it was making a mark in my nose. My sister got one and her nose ring literaly sits in side of her nose hole. Although she didnt get hers professionally done, but I did. I have took the back off my nose ring and has been sleeping with out it for a couple of days now. Do you think it would hurt any thing?

My friend had a nose ring once, and she didn’t have it very long. Maybe 7 months or so, and it left a permanent hole in her nose even though it’s not all the way through.

No, unless it falls out and closes up.

I have my nose pierced and its been 2 years about now and when I got it pierced professionaly they put in a nose ring with a backingon it and I bought one that goes into your nose and at the end it goes a bit bigger so that when your nose hole starts to heal your nose ring wont fall out… and they also have the ones that twirl kinda to not fall out too… they are more comfortable then the nose rings with the backing on them…

.. I feel stupid. what do you mean, the back of the nose ring? when I had my nose pierced, there was no back to the ring. it was a stud that was bent near the back to hold it in place… if you’re worried about it falling out if you take the back off, maybe get a bent nose ring or one of the corkscrew ones..
